'샤토 루이14세'라는 이름을 가진 약 4600여㎡ 넓이의 이 저택은 중동부호에게 세계 최고가인 약 3522억원에 팔렸다.

    프랑스 파리 교외의 한 호화 저택이 2억7500만 유로(약 3522억원)에 팔려 세계에서 가장 비싼 집으로 기록됐다.

'샤토 루이14세'라는 이름을 가진 약 4600여㎡ 넓이의 이 저택은 익명을 요구한 한 중동인 구매자가 사들였다고 영국 일간 텔레그래프·데일리메일이 16일(현지시간) 보도했다.

이 집 이전에 가장 비싸게 팔린 저택은 영국 런던의 한 펜트하우스로 당시 판매가는 1억4700만 파운드(약 2594억원)였다. 

이 저택은 사우디아라비아의 개발업자 에마드 카쇼기가 200명의 인력을 투입해 3년 동안 건축해 2011년 완공했다.

17세기 건축 양식으로 지어져 '태양왕' 루이14세의 이름이 붙은 이 저택에는 옥내외 풀장과 극장, 스쿼시 코트, 2개의 무도장과 지하 나이트클럽이 있다.

철통같은 보안 시설 갖춰

또한 10개의 침실과 16ｍ 높이의 돔 천장에 벽화가 그려진 대형 리셉션룸, 도서관, 와인 저장실, 철갑상어가 헤엄치는 수족관 등을 갖추고 있다.

저택 외부의 정원에는 인근 베르사유 궁전의 아폴로 분수를 본떠 금박을 입힌 조각품으로 장식한 분수대가 있다.

아이패드를 통해 어디서나 볼수 있게 설치한 40개의 첨단 감시 카메라와 경보 시스템 등 철저한 보안 시설을 갖추고 있다.

미국의 유명 연예인 킴 카다시안이 지난해 5월 세계적 래퍼 카니예 웨스트와 결혼하기 앞서 이곳을 결혼식장으로 물색하고 있다는 보도가 나와 더욱 유명해졌다. 두 사람은 이탈리아 피렌체에서 결혼식을 올렸다. (출처 )연합뉴스)

A Paris chateau built in honour of Louis the Great has become the most expensive property ever sold after going for a staggering NZ$444 million.

Located between Versailles and Marly-le-Roi on a 57 acre section, the Chateau Louis XIV may resemble a 17th Century estate but it was completed in 2011.

According to the Daily Mail the estate was sold to a Middle Eastern buyer.

The sale price has eclipsed a London penthouse which previously held the record after selling for $NZ326 million.

Marble has been featured heavily throughout, used on the floors, in the bathrooms and for a statue of Louis the Great. Murals like that in the Sistine Chapel adorn the walls and ceilings.

The property considered for a wedding venue for Kim Kardashian West and her husband Kanye West last year.
