프로야구 SMBC 일본시리즈 2015 제5차전이 29일 진구(神宮) 구장에서 진행돼, 소프트뱅크(퍼시픽리그 우승)가 5-0으로 야쿠르트(센트럴리그 우승)에 쾌승하며 대전 성적 4승 1패로 전신인 난카이(南海), 다이에(ダイエー) 시대를 포함해 2년 연속 7번째 시리즈 제패를 달성했다. 2년 연속 일본 제일은 1992년 세이부(西武)가 3연패한 이래 23년 만이자 구단으로는 사상 처음이다. 구도(工藤) 감독은 야쿠르트 마나카(真中) 감독과 취임 1년차 감독끼리의 대결에서 승리하며 신인감독으로는 사상 10번째로 시리즈를 제패했다. 최고 수훈 선수(MVP)는 2홈런 8타점의 이대호가 선출됐다. 외국인 선수 선출은 1996년 닐(오릭스) 이래다. 소프트뱅크는 4회 이대호의 2점 홈런으로 선제. 5회에도 아카시(明石)의 적시타 등으로 2점을 더했다. 야쿠르트는 4일 휴식을 취하고 선발로 나선 이시카와(石川)가 5회 도중 4실점으로 강판. 타선도 이어지지 못했다.【교도통신】 |

TOKYO -- Former major leaguer Jason Standridge pitched six scoreless innings and South Korean slugger Lee Dae-ho hit a two-run homer as the SoftBank Hawks beat the Yakult Swallows 5-0 on Thursday to win the Japan Series in five games.
Standridge struck out two and gave up four hits to pick up the win. Lee connected off Yakult starter Masanori Ishikawa in the fourth to give the Hawks an early 2-0 lead.
SoftBank added two more runs in the top of the fifth inning and another run in the ninth to capture their second straight Japan Series title and the seventh in franchise history.
SoftBank won the first two games of the series by scores of 4-2 and 4-0. Yakult took Game 3 by a score of 8-4, and the Hawks posted a 6-4 win in Game 4.
