싱가포르에서 열린 제28회 동남아시아게임(SEASGAG) 다이빙 대회에서 0.0의 점수가 나왔다. 충격적인 점수를 기록한 이들은 두 명의 필리핀 다이빙 선수다.  ‘타임’의 보도에 따르면, 지난 6월 10일, 존 엘머슨 패브리가(21)와 존 데이비드 파호요(17)는 똑같이 입수 동작에서 실수를 저질렀다. 등으로 입수를 하거나, 다리가 먼저 들어간 것. 당시 중계 영상에는 다이빙 도중 당황한 이들의 표정이 고스란히 담겼다. 그리고 이 영상은 싱가폴의 유머 페이스북(SGAG)을 통해 공개된 이후, 200만번 가량의 조회수를 얻었다.  비롯 웃음거리가 됐지만, 두 선수는 이같은 실수를 웃어 넘기려고 했다. 파호요는 직접 SGAG 페이스북 페이지에 댓글을 남기기도 했다. “심지어 나도 내가 다이빙을 한 후에 웃었어요. 그럼에도 나는 우리가 자랑스럽습니다. 이처럼 큰 스포츠 대회에 누구나 자신의 나라를 대표해서 나갈 수는 없으니까요.”  그리고 그는 다음 날, 자신의 페이스북을 통해 아래와 같은 영상을 게시했다. A video of two Filipino divers scoring zero at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore has proved a huge online hit. John Elmerson Fabriga and John David Pahoyo, who are 21 and 17 respectively, both really struggled in the men's 3m springboard event and ended up being awarded scores of zero from the judges. While it was an international competition, both men were admirably prepared to laugh at themselves after fails which were so comical the video quickly went viral after it was posted to the Facebook page SGAG. "I even laughed at myself after I did this dive,” said Pahoyo, tagging his team-mate Fabriga in a comment on the Facebook page itself. "I am still proud because not all of us has the privilege to represent our own country to such a big sporting event like this. "And by the way can I ask all of you if you can still smile after getting embarrassed in front of thousands of people?" .But Philippine Sports Commission chairman Richie Garcia did not seem as amused by the whole thing, saying that he wants an explanation from the country's aquatics chief, Mark Joseph. "I will give the opportunity for the Philippine Swimming Inc. president to explain, because he fought for these divers to come here and compete," said Garcia.
