Patrolman Michael Slager, 33, opened fire on Walter Scott, 50, as he was running from him in Charleston, 

South Carolina. Slager was charged with murder after footage of the killing filmed by a bystander emerged. 

According to the Charleston Post and Courier , there was a warrant out for Scott's arrest - and he tried to

flee when Slager pulled him over in a traffic stop.

마이클 슬래거는 살인혐의로 현재 조사를 받고 있다.

그는 버스정류소에 서 있던 월터 스코트에 대해 체포 경고를 하자 

도망가려 했다며 그에게서 "위협을 느꼈다"면서 총을 발사했다고 말했다.

현재 마이클 슬래거의 생명의 위협에 대한 증거가 없어 논란의 대상이 되고 있다.
