Zhang Ziyi and Chinese rock musician Wang Feng have been rumoured to be an item since May this year. Despite being caught on dates numerous times, the couple refused to admit their relationship. Last night, Wang Feng suddenly professed his love for Ziyi openly during his concert at the Shanghai Stadium.
Before the performance of the song, I love you that much <我是如此愛你>, Wang Feng suddenly delivered an eight-minute love declaration. Although he did not specify any name, it was pretty obvious that his love declaration was for Ziyi who was present at his concert.
He said, “I imagine that one day, we could hold hands like a normal couple. I imagine that one day, we could walk under the sun and not be wearing any masks anymore. The people around us will not flash their cameras at us, and instead respond to us with a friendly smile. I imagine that when we get old one day, we could hold each other and walk forward on the road.”

Ziyi, who was wearing a hat was captured on the screen, with tears rolling in her eyes.
When dating rumours of Ziyi and Wang Feng surfaced, the latter has not divorced with his wife yet, and Ziyi was labelled as the third party. At the time, Ziyi was also speculated to still be dating his ex-boyfriend, television host Sa Beining. Both Wang Feng and Ziyi were subjected to the public backlash on their relationship.
Both managers have declined to comment on Wang Feng’s love declaration.
