​ 손흥민(레버쿠젠·춘천 출신·사진)이 한국 축구 선수로는 유일하게 가장 비싼 몸값 톱 100에 포함됐다. ​ 국제스포츠연구센터(CIES) 축구연구소가 2009년부터 쌓은 각 선수의 기록, 팀 공헌도, 나이 등의 자료와 1500개 구단을 대상으로 조사한 결과, 손흥민이 2100만 유로(약 274억원)로 공동 97위에 오르며 한국 선수 중 유일하게 톱 100에 들었다. ​ 손흥민의 몸값은 페드로 로드리게스(바르셀로나), 아르다 투란(아틀레티코 마드리드), 스테판 요베티치(맨체스터 시티)와 같다. ​ 가장 비싼 몸값을 자랑하는 선수는 현재 이적료 추정치 2억2000만 유로(약 2871억3000만원)인 리오넬메시(바르셀로나)로 조사됐다. 메시와 쌍벽을 이루는 크리스티아누 호날두(레알 마드리드)는 1억3300만 유로(약 1735억8000만원)로 2위에 올랐다. ​ 한편 첼시는 에덴 아자르(9900만 유로·약 1292억1000만원·3위), 디에고 코스타(8400만 유로·4위), 세스크 파브레가스(6200만 유로·8위) 등 몸값 ‘톱 10’에 드는 선수를 3명이나 보유한 것으로 나타났다. ​ ​맨체스터 시티의 세르히오 아궤로(6500만 유로·6위), 리버풀의 라힘 스털링(6300만 유로·7위), 아스널의 알렉시스 산체스(6100만 유로·9위) 등 잉글랜드 프리미어리그 무대를 누비는 선수는 모두 6명이 톱 10에 들었다. ​ 2013년 여름 유럽 축구 역대 최고 이적료를 갱신하며 레알 마드리드로 옮긴 가레스 베일은 몸값 6000만 유로(약 783억1000만원)로 10위를 차지했다. 박주석· 연합뉴스
