동아지질은 홍콩공항공사(AAHK:Airport Authority Hong Kong)가 발주한 홍콩국제공항 제3활주로 건설을 위한 DCM(Deep Cement Mixing) 시험시공 P553 프로젝트를 수주했다고 17일 밝혔다.   현지업체인 China State Construction Engineering(Hong Kong) Limited와 5:5로 JV(Joint Venture 합작투자방식)를 체결해 China State-Dong-Ah JV 공동도급으로 지난 10월7일 입찰에 참여해 12월16일 AAHK로부터 낙찰통지서를 수령했다.   수주금액은 홍콩달러로 5660만불 규모다.   이번 프로젝트는 매립된 점토층에(Filled Mud Pit) 시멘트 고화재를 사용해 고결 및 강도증진을 시키는 DCM 지반개량공법을 홍콩 최초로 설계에 적용해 약 8개월간 공사를 수행한다.   특히 동아지질은 해양생태공원과 중국흰돌고래 서식지임을 고려해 친환경 해상 DCM 구현을 위해 대기/수질오염, 소음 및 진동의 환경문제를 해결할 수 있는 시스템을 채택해 지반개량장치를 설계·개선했다.   동아지질 관계자는 “이번 프로젝트를 성공적으로 완수하고 현지 시장분석 및 빠른 현지화의 노력을 통해 2016년 상반기에 예상되는 본 공사 입찰의 선점기회를 확보하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다”고 밝혔다. Deep Cement Mixing(DCM)Trial Works

The Airport Authority Hong Kong (the "Authority") is planning to carry out a ground improvement trial, using the deep cement mixing (DCM) technique, in a selected sea bed area north of the Hong Kong International Airport.   This trial will provide essential design data for the planned airport expansion development. The trial works will include installation of approximately 410 clusters of DCM columns, temporary geotextile and sand blanket and associated surveys, monitoring and testing.   The Works will be carried out under three separate contracts as follows:   Contract P552 – Deep Cement Mixing Trial Works (by Single Rig*) Contract P553 – Deep Cement Mixing Trial Works (by Multiple Rigs*) Contract P554 – Deep Cement Mixing Trial Works (by Cutter Soil Mixing Rigs*)   *See the definitions attached to this notice. Invitations to tender for these three contracts are expected to be issued in May 2014. The trial works are to be completed within a period of 9 months. The procurement method for these contracts, conditions for participation and tenderer selection criteria are detailed in the Prequalification Invitation Document.   The Authority invites expressions of interest from organisations with PROVEN EXPERIENCE and the CAPABILITY to manage and conduct the DCM trial works. Suitable contractors should be experienced in the deep cement mixing ground improvement technology and will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience and ability in undertaking similar marine works projects.
