[이라크 내전]북부 이라크 공세

2014년 북부 이라크 공세는 2014년 6월 5일부터 시리아 내전 과정에서 성장한 수니파 군사집단이자 사실상 미승인 국가인 이라크·레반트 이슬람 국가군이 북부 이라크로 진격하여 벌어진 전쟁이다. 이들은 이라크군으로부터 모술과 사담 후세인의 고향인 티크리트 등을 빼앗고 바그다드 인근까지 위협하고 있다. 쿠르드 자치구의 자치정부인 쿠르드 지역 정부는 쿠르드인을 보호하고 만약의 경우를 대비하기 위해 이라크 정부군이 철수한 키르쿠크를 점령하여 이라크·레반트 이슬람 국가 군으로 부터 쿠르드인을 보호하고 있다. 급기야 이란과 미국이 이라크를 도우려 손을 잡고 있다. 2014년 6월기준 수니파 ISIS가 시아파지역을 점령한 영토 wiki   kcontents

 

정부는 20일 이라크에 진출한 국내기업체들과 간담회를 열고 이라크사태가 악화에 대비해 비상대책 수립 등 피해방지를 위한 사안을 집중 논의했다.   현재 이라크에는 대우건설 등 국내 건설업체와 공공기관 등이 상주하고 있으며 사태악화를 우려해 안전한 바그다드 등지로 이동한 것으로 알려졌다.   이라크내 공사에 참여 중인 주요 건설업체들은 발주처의 입장을 감안해 철수에 대한 요청은 안한 상태이지만 추이를 면밀히 지켜보면서 내부적으로는 비상사태에 대한 만반의 대책을 세워논 상태다.   황기철 @conpaper kcontents
