Following the Abu Dhabi Executive Committee's approval to reduce tourism fees to 3.5% and municipality fees to 2%, Construction Week rounds up the top five projects that are most likely to benefit from this development

 

ADNEC expansion:  ADNEC 다목적 전시센터 올해 완공 2019년 개관

An event hall within Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) is being redeveloped to host a crowd of 3,000. Hall 4 of ADNEC also known as the venue of Cityscape Abu Dhabi will be divided into three event spaces, each with a capacity for 1,000 guests. Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company, owner of the ADNEC facility, expects the project to complete this year, in time for events planned for 2019 [image: adnec.ae].

Warner Bros Abu Dhabi: 10억불짜리 아부다비 워너브러더스 올 7월 25일 개관

Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, estimated to be worth $1bn (AED3.67bn), will open at Yas Island on 25 July, 2018, a listing on its website confirmed in April. Construction commencement of the project was announced in July, 2015. Warner Bros Entertainment had signed a deal in 2007 with Aldar Properties and the Abu Dhabi Media Company to bring Warner Bros-themed project to the Middle East, Arabian Business reported at the time.

Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas: 5성급 사디야트 로타나 리조트빌라 올 가을 개관 예정

Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas, a five-star hospitality development on Abu Dhabis Saadiyat Island, will officially open in Q3 2018, after facing years of construction-related delays [ ITP Images].

Yas Arena: 야스 아레나, 스포츠 및 엔터테인먼트 등 다목적 아레나 2019년 말 개관

As the first multi-purpose venue in Abu Dhabi, Yas Arena can be used year-round for a variety of sport and entertainment events within a temperature controlled environment. It is scheduled for completion by the end of 2019. Construction work has begun on the 18,000-seatYas Arena in Abu Dhabi, Dutch contractor BAM International said this January.

Reem Mall: 12억불 짜리 림몰, 쇼핑 엔터테인먼트홀 2020년 말 완공 

The foundation stone was set for Abu Dhabi's $1.2bn (AED4.4bn) Reem Mall this May. The UAE's Minister of Tolerance,HE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, attended the foundation stone ceremony with other dignitaries and senior officials.Construction work began late in 2017, with the Italian-Emirati joint venture, Itinera Ghantoot, awarded a $626m (AED2.3bn) contract to build the project, which is planned to be completed by the end of 2020.
