The project includes large bridges, man-made islands and an undersea tunnel

It's set to serve the humongous Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area

The mega urbanised area in southern China has over 100 million residents 

Beijing has already built the world's longest sea bridge for the mega city

이 프로젝트는 7km 해저터널과 교량  및 인공섬을 포함한다.


광동~홍콩-마카오에 이르는 중국 남부의 메가 도심지역은 1억명이 

넘는 인구를 가지고 있다.

 

베이징은 메카시티를 위한 세계 최장의 해상교량을 이미 건설했다.

China has planned an impressive cross-sea traffic link for a mega city that has over 100 million residents, reported Chinese state media.


Construction of a massive undersea tunnel that runs seven kilometres (4.3 miles) has begun.

The project, which is set to cost 50 billion yuan (£5.7 billion), also includes bridges and man-made islands on the busy Zhujiang River Estuary, also known as Pearl River Estuary.
