Photographer’s Drone Melts Capturing an Incredible Aerial Shot of a Volcanic Eruption

There are around 130 volcanoes in Iceland. Most of them are inactive, but the country has recently been experiencing a rare volcanic eruption in the southwest area of the Reykjanes peninsula. On March 20, 2021, a volcano known as Geldingadalur began erupting, and it’s still spewing out red-hot lava today. The active volcano is currently being monitored, but it’s not considered an immediate threat to the surrounding areas. Many people are flocking to the scene in order to enjoy the spectacular display from a safe distance. However, photographer Garðar Ólafs is one local who may have let his drone get a little too close.
Ólafs managed to fly his drone directly over the top of the volcano and capture footage that looks straight down into the fiery mouth of the fissure. The amazing shot came at a cost, though; the extreme heat caused Ólafs’s drone to melt! “I was flying my drone around the eruption and decided it would be cool to see it from straight above,” the photographer says. “I slowly lowered the drone until all I could see was erupting lava, and when I looked up, I didn’t see the drone anymore. Basically, I was inside the crater of the volcano.”

하지만 사진작가 올라프스는 간신히 그의 드론을 화산 꼭대기에 직접 날려서 불꽃 튀는 입구를 똑바로 내려다보는 장면을 포착했다. 극심한 열기로 인해 올라프스의 드론이 녹아내렸다! "저는 제 드론을 화산 폭발 주변에 날리고 있었는데 바로 위에서 그것을 보는 것이 멋질 것이라고 결정했다,"라고 사진작가는 말한다. "나는 용암이 분출할 때까지 천천히 드론을 내려보았다. 그리고 위를 올려다보니 드론이 더 이상 보이지 않았다. 나는 화산의 분화구 안에 있었다."
鹿児島・諏訪之瀬島 噴火警戒レベル３「入山規制」に引き上げ
鹿児島県十島村の諏訪之瀬島では、３０日深夜から３１日未明にかけて、大きな噴石が火口から１キロ近くまで飛ぶ爆発的噴火が発生し、気象庁は噴火警戒レベルを２から３の「入山規制」に引き上げました。
諏訪之瀬島では３４世帯６８人が暮らしていますが、集落は火口からおよそ４キロ離れていて、被害は確認されていないということです。（31日10:31）
일본 규슈 남부 화산 스와노세지마 분화
파편 1km까지 날아가
일본 규슈 남부 스와노세지마에서 화산이 폭발했다. 일본 기상청은 분화 경계 레벨을 5단계에서 3단계로 올리고 입산을 통제했다고 31일 AFP통신이 보도했다.
기상청에 따르면 30일 22시 5분과 31일 2시 57분 스와노세지마 오타케 분화구가 폭발했다. 기상청에 따르면 분화구에서 1km 떨어진 지역까지 암석이 날아갔다.
암석은 최대 2km까지 날아갈 가능성이 있다고 기성청은 분석했다.
