세계 최고 병원 순위에서 우리나라 병원들은?
우리나라 대형병원들이 세계적 수준을 갖춘 것으로 평가됐다. 서울아산병원, 세브란스병원, 삼성서울병원, 서울대병원, 서울성모병원, 고대안암병원, 분당서울대병원 등 국내 주요병원이 미국 시사주간지 《뉴스위크》가 9일 발표한 ‘분야별 세계 최고 병원 2021’ 상위권에 대거 포진했다.
《뉴스위크》는 지난 9월 1차로 심장, 종양, 내분비 분야 랭킹을 발표한 데 이어 이날 신경과, 소화기, 정형외과까지 추가로 발표했다. 최신 시설 및 장비, 지식정보 수준, 의사들의 성과 등을 종합해서 50위까지 순위를 발표했으며 51~200위까지는 알파벳순으로 병원을 표시했다.

이에 따르면 서울아산병원은 내분비에서 세계 4위, 소화기에서 6위, 종양 분야에서 7위, 신경과에서 8위, 정형외과에서 12위, 심장병에서 36위를 차지하는 등 세계적 병원으로 인정받았다. 세브란스병원은 정형외과에서 아시아 최고인 세계 5위, 내분비분야에서 7위를 차지해서 명문 의료기관으로 입증 받았다.
특히 종양 분야에서 서울아산병원이 아시아 최고 순위인 7위에 오른데 이어 삼성서울병원 9위, 서울대병원 12위, 서울성모병원 18위, 세브란스병원 27위, 국립암센터가 37위를 차지했고 200위 안에 강남세브란스병원, 건국대병원, 경희대병원, 고려대안암병원, 고려내구로병원, 분당서울대병원, 여의도성모병원, 원자력병원, 화순전남대병원(이상 가나다순) 등이 포진해 암 치료 분야에서는 대한민국 병원들이 세계적 경쟁력을 갖춘 것으로 조사됐다. 다음은 《뉴스위크》 발표 분야별 주요 병원 순위.
