일본 올림픽 위원회 부위원장 타시마 고조는 자신이 이끄는 축구협회를 통해 발표한 성명에서 '나의 테스트 결과는 새로운 코로나바이러스 양성반응을 판정되었다'고 발표했다.

이 소식은 전염병이 증가하고 있기 때문에 도쿄 2020 게임이 전혀 진행될 수 있는지에 대한 의구심이 커지고 있는 가운데 나온 것이다.

The deputy head of Japan's Olympic Committee has tested positive for coronavirus, he revealed today. 

Kozo Tashima announced that 'my test result showed positive for the new coronavirus' in a statement via the football association which he also leads. 

The news comes amid growing doubts over whether the Tokyo 2020 Games can go ahead at all because of the growing pandemic.
