비계조립 로봇...인건비 30% 이상 절감할 수 있어
독일 로봇 스타트업인 ‘케바조(Kewazo)’가 250만 유로(약 32억 6400만원)의 투자 자금을 유치했다고 ‘뮌헨 스타트업’ 등이 보도했다.

The Kewazo scaffolding robot has now raised a total of €3.6 million in funding, the firm now aims to obtain certification of the product and to release the first batch of the series systems “Liftbot” to the market. The former managing director of Layher Germany Dr. Helmut Kreller and Uwe Braun former managing director of Losberger have both joined Kewazo’s management team. The duo brings many years of experience from the construction and scaffolding industries.

The Kewazo scaffolding robot works by moving up, down and along a scaffold by means of a special track attached to horizontal and vertical tubes of the job. 케바조는 건설 현장에서 비계(scaffolding:건축공사 때 높은 곳에서 일할 수 있도록 설치하는 임시 가설물)를 조립하는데 필요한 로봇을 개발했다. 특별하게 설계된 트랙을 이용해 수직 및 수평 이동이 가능하다. 경로찾기 알고리즘을 사용해 기둥이 필요한 작업자를 찾아낸다. 특히 머신러닝으로 로봇은 인간 동료가 어떻게 움직이고 작업하는지 더 잘 파악할 수 있다.
특별하게 설계된 트랙을 이용해 수직 및 수평 이동이 가능한 비계 조립 로봇이 건축현장에서 사용되고 있다.
비계 조립에 필요한 자재를 비계 조립자에게 효율적으로 전달, 인건비를 30% 이상 절감할 수 있다. 기둥을 운반하는 로봇을 통해 인건비를 33% 절약하고 비계를 세우는 데 필요한 시간을 42% 단축시킨다는 설명이다. 케바조는 현재 비계 조립 로봇을 몇 개 건설 현장에 시험적으로 적용하고 있다.
