몇명이서 가볍게 판당고 춤을 추고 있었었지

무대를 휘저으며 여러번 옆으로 도는 묘기도 보여 주었지

그러자 배멀미 하는 것 처럼 속이 좀 메스꺼워 졌어

하지만 사람들은 더 해 보라고 소리를 질러댔지

실내는 환호성으로 가득 차서 

마치 천장이 떠나갈 듯 했지

우린 술을 더 가져 오라고 소리쳤고

웨이터가 술을 가져 왔었지

그리고 한참 지난 후였어

바텐더가 그가 들었던 이야기를 들려 주었지

그녀의 얼굴색이 처음에는 유령과 같은 잿빛이었다가

새하얗게 창백한 모습으로 변했었다고...

그녀는 말했지 "이유는 없어요 그리고 그건 확실한 사실이예요"
